Guess not. I was hoping to play it on the way home tomorrow. Damn.
Because I'm a sucker for MM stuff, I picked this up and just now played the intro level.
It's good! It plays like a fresher Mega Man X game. Chatty, but you can skip entire swaths of dialog with the start button. Looks gorgeous on 3DS with the 3D turned on, like most well-produced 2D stuff tends to.
Being able to run after a dash and not just go back to walking speed is really nice. And there's~ Wall Jumping ~
I didn't realize you got Mighty Striker right away, that's rad.
Edit: Wait, is it just a code you can put in later?
No, the way of getting it is dumb. You have to check you eshop receipt for the code then enter that into the eshop to get mighty striker
Use cell phone camera to take a picture of the code, enter the code. NBD.
It's kind of cool to noodle around with and then jump in to ASG; it's kind of a truncated way to experience a Mega Man to Mega Man X evolution without the years in between.
