That "MKX" bumper photograph was part of a slow countdown Boon had been updating on Twitter that is slated to hit zero on June 2. We'll keep a close eye on NetherRealm Studios, and report back on anything that might emerge.

Mortal Kombat X: All Will Die

The reboot was good but after a while I just lost interest in it due to the combat system not feeling 100% right and getting my ass handed to me after trying to pick it up months after.

The tag team mode was great though so I'd like to see that return. I might pass on this, there's only so many fighters one can play and so much time in the day.

Just fire the person who did the 3D models for the last game and we're fine.

No more Batman Jawed Women, please.

I think I liked the last one so much just because it was basically MK 1-3 remade. This new one will just be all new shit and probably suck.

I like how even their high quality CG features the game's trademark awkward, stiff animations.

I like this a lot. I was worried it was just going to be a "best of" for the latter part of the MK games. Nobody wanted that and Boon knew it!

This is the first time i have been interested in an MK game for the last few years. The new characters look pretty interesting.

I hate Chang and Choi in KOF, but both together in the CVS2 iteration was awesome, wish they had kept that in later SNK games.

Mortal Kombat kreator Ed Boon was quoted in the media this week as saying that MKX will almost certainly have a guest character because Freddy Kruger was the best selling MK9 DLC and Scorpion was the best selling Injustice DLC. He stated that the guest character will NOT be a DC Comics character (because of violence) so I ask you this TNL, who do you think it will be? List your hope, and your assumption.

It sounds very similar to a PS4 version of the Neo Pad.

Microswitches are amazing. Shame that it seems like they tend to wear out fast. Or that cheap parts are used. Both? Whatever.

There was a controller sold at Gamestop that looked suspiciously like that a few years back. They were gutter trash.

Then I read some reviews.

I would stick with the hori fighting commander, or whatever it's called.
Both versions for the PS3 seemed really solid from what I could tell.
