Forza Horizon 2 (360/One)

Thank you to whoever it was who told me, on here, that the Horizon series is not like the regular Forza series. I tried the demo of this game out, and it was amazing, so I bought it right away and haven't been able to put it down since. This may very well be the best racing game I have ever had the pleasure of playing, and it's my Game of the Year thus far. I just finished the Horizon Finale, and was pleased to see that I still have a LONG way to go in this one. Apparently, I'm 1% of the way to the next Horizon Finale now. haha.

On the other hand, I got DriveClub a few days ago, and I just can't get into that game. I feel sorry for it being released a week after Forza Horizon 2, because Horizon demolishes it in every possible category.

Yeah - Driveclub would've fared much better at launch against Forza Motorsport 5. Now that it's against Forza Horizon 2....yikes. Multi-system owners really have no reason to pick up Driveclub with FH 2 existing in the same universe as it.

I borrowed a copy of this and despite the lack of takedowns I really like it. The kudos system and constantly changing environments go a long way towards keeping my interest.

It's the best game of the year.

That is a reasonable opinion. I was tearing it up today in an Aston Martin V12 -- the game is spectacular. We should do some more online road trips.

Does the Smartglass phone app ring your phone when you get a XB message? A lot of times I would like to play but I'm not on XB.

New events and area?! Holy shit, I've put like 30 hours into this game and I'm still nowhere near 100% completing the events/areas that are there already! I love this game to death!

Well, I'll never do every championship because they're so redundant, but I have knocked out both "seasons" and almost every Bucket List challenge.

Game is great, I can't wait to get back into it. I fear the majority of the events might be recycled though (but I would love a lot more Bucket List challenges...they had the 1000 Club or something in the first game as DLC)
