Battlefront had always been naptime.
Star Wars nostalgia bites me in the ass every time. Never again!
I'm enjoying it. I still plan on getting it, since I've had $40 sitting in my Origin account for several months now. Spending an extra $20, or so, won't be that be that big of a deal.
Downloaded the beta yesterday, completely expecting to hate it, because the Battlefield series does nothing for me. I was hoping the beta would be dull enough to save me $60, but I ended up enjoying it a lot more than I thought I would. I think the damn Star Wars license might suck me into buying this one....that being said, how much I want to pay for it completely depends on how much content is in the single player mode...I enjoyed the single player level in the beta, but I'm hoping there is more to it than that.
Looks like fun to me. But I love this series. It's fun and not too serious or complicated.
This will only support party chat on PS4 and Xbox and only third party programs on PC for voice chat. Seriously?
Console master race.
I'm glad I played the beta, because based on previews and general hype (that I wish I was immune to at this point) I was day1 excited for this. After actually playing the thing I learned this game is so bad. Not unlike most games in the Battlefield series. I've always preferred CoD to Battlefield because CoD is faster and more visceral. For some reason I thought the Battlefield team would get their shit together for this one, given the responsibility that comes with the Star Wars Battlefront license, and make a game that's fun to play for once. Too bad this game is boring af. Black Ops 3 is day 1 though
Rough. I always preferred the battlefront games to CoD. Because everything is less tight and you die so often it's hard to get mad.
