For me it's to the point that any video game discussion here is fucking miserable. I have to post visitor messages if I want to talk about something without drowning in bitchy old man negativity.

Not sure why the same handful of guys are so determined to turn this into Apathy: The Forum. It's a fucking joke that anyone thinks new members are going to stick around for it.

But all things considered, this game has turned out to be a bummer. There's a high level of excitement around the idea of a new Star Fox game. Forcing the dual screens thing can totally poison the (Star Fox) well for another 10 years. It wasn't very fun from the demo I played at E3 or maybe just that it was too predictable. If they can find a way to make the game exciting, maybe you can look past the dual screen aspect. There's probably a way to make it work without it feeling so forced.

It doesn't sound like they've actually been working on the game for too long so I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt (as usual with Nintendo). They just showed an early prototype at E3 last year right? And since then Platinum's become involved so I figure they brought a wrecking ball into it like Revengeance.

Yup, I think if any combination of developers deserves the benefit of the doubt, it's Nintendo and Platinum.

Game's not out yet, guys. Relax.
