I'll never understand this. The Wii U Pro controller is fucking legit as hell. I've played like 3 games that need the gamepad. W101, Pikmin 3 and well, this.

So I guess I get it, but even then it's lightweight.

I trust shidoshi a lot more than that. I was more thinking about the broken score scale where a bad game is a 6 instead of a 3. Thus "good" is an 8, when it really should be a 6-7.

I guess if you convert the de facto 10-point scale to letter grades like in school it starts to make sense. 9-10 is an "A", 8 is a "B", 7 is a "C", 6 is a "D", and 1-5 is an "F." A publication like EGM wouldn't review the worst of the worst, so that makes their distribution essentially 6-10, which isn't enough room to differentiate.

Not true...Mario 3D World, Captain Toad, hell NES Remix requires(d?) that you at least start the game with the Pad. But I agree that the Pro Controller is fine (it's not X360 class, but it's better than the DS3).

But guess which controller you need for this game?

I would hope she and everyone else took that as the lame joke it was and not a judgment on her character. Scores mean little to me. Just about every game I enjoy "score" low among reviewers. Sometimes it's the faults that make an experience special, not the lack of them.

I'm conflicted, I probably won't buy this until all of the modes are unlocked just because I hate the principle of old ass Nintendo deciding when you're allowed to play shit.
