As of last October I had accumulated 600 NES games through Craigslist. Dismantled and cleaned all of them ( minus sports games, screw that) and began reselling them cheaply including a number of sales to TNLers. While there were plenty of great people the vast majority of replies were resellers wanting lot prices or peps trying to haggle down $5 Mario 3 or $7 Contra. Total pain in the ass and I moved onto Ebay once those NES games were sold. It works much better and that's where I'll be selling for the near future. For the most part unless its items I'm very happy to acquire I try to avoid posting Craigs finds since its impossible not to come off as gloating.
Because I'm a dinosaur I still don't have a smart phone. Is there any apps out there that notify you when a Craigs category updates? Would wager that is the best way to stay on top of things. I'm sure every area DOES have deals but ( especially in larger metros) also a larger portion of people with ebay/amazon shops they hunt and peck for. Search function is your friend too, found plenty of games thrown under electronics or collectible. Most of all its blind luck. Found a amazing haul last Winter on a completely shitty night by stumbling on it 5 minutes after it was posted. A hour later when I meet the guy he already had a half dozen calls. Luck just luck.
You need to be quicker on the draw. This was on the CR page for a week before I finally emailed him:
Attachment 74793
36 complete DS games for $75. I kept 5 or 6 of them and got over a $125 from the rest. There's a nice Coregrafx up right now, pricey though.
