I'm not joking, if he is gonna start that shit then he needs to finish it. He said part 2 would be up more than a week ago.

That's ok. I was thinking weekly but with the time investment required it's looking more like a bi-weekly thing.
Nintendo invented the television for the NES. Without them modern media wouldn't be the same.
Someone should do a documentary or book on all the Nintendo revisionist history.
Someone really should.
(Man, a lot of dust and cobwebs have gathered on that one.)
Maybe nobody cares about this stuff, but instead of talking about which enemies are easy to beat and which are hard, you could talk about what makes each easy or hard or unique or threatening. Any youtube clown can hold a Megaman cart in front of a camera tell you it's good or, to use the phrase said about fifty times in that Saturn vid, "well-made," but nobody talks about what "good" or "well-made" mean.
Here's one reason Megaman is good: obstacle variety.
The bullet bill guys are at their most threatening immediately after you attack them. Most enemies are at their most threatening as you're attacking them them. Sniper Joe can only be attacked while he's attacking you. Ironically, the only obstacles that can't be attacked, the spikes and the bombs, are like you said, the easiest to avoid. There's a really neat dynamic going on in this stage alone! These things are testing the tension between attacking and defending in interesting and varied ways. This is the stuff we're actually talking about when we talk about Megaman being "good."
I don't know if I'm that good at analyzing game and enemy design! My goal was just to show the obstacles and then show the best way past them, really. I'm definitely mentioning anything that I find interesting or fun personally about the actual encounters, but I don't think I have something that deep in mind for every single one.
If you have a lot to say about the game, take notes and be a part of the podcast we'll put together after all the episodes are done to wrap the game up =]
This took me a stupid long amount of time for 8 minutes. I rushed some stuff near the end because I just wanted it to be over already.
The second episode:
only 9 more to go hahahahaakjhflhgs
Ugh, I'll make a custom thumbnail tomorrow.
Nice! The chalkboard animation was very well done.
