I almost pulled the trigger on a 3D system a couple of months ago. Did you get it because of a good deal (boring) or because there was something you really wanted to check out (hopefully)?
I bought it to use for both NES and SMS games (I don't know if it will work with Vectrex games but that would be cool). I have only tested it on Missile Defense 3D so far which is my favourite 8-bit 3D glasses game.
I have read that the sms glasses work with the Vectrex, so if we are to believe the laws of syllogism...
A buddy was talking about Falsion so that got me thinking about getting a set, but I've yet to do so.
Falsion's one I won't likely be buying (I don't trust floppy disks anymore) but I can play it emulated with the glasses at least.
As long as Gohan is around, I have no issue with the disks :)
They're also far and away the best part of the Famicom. I love all the clicking and what not.
In my experience with FDS disks the failure rate is surprisingly low, literally only a few disks among dozens of disks I've used. Those that were bad could all be rewritten.
That being said, I wouldn't pay more than $30 for any FDS game considering the media and the relative ease of piracy increasing the chance of buying a homemade disk.
