If you end up selling them I want 30%
Glad you dig the kiosk, btw. I'm stoked someone is playing it and it isn't in the garbage can.

Fuck you, USPS.
Close enough.
The most useless thing in the world came in the mail today, now my PS2 is one upside-down blue DVD away from fitting the classical ideal of the system. I'm pretty amused with this.

It's literally a Horizontal Stand.
Horizontal stand?
edit: Damn it, Joust.
why would you buy that?
Glass houses, my friend
come over, I'll lob one at your head

That Astro Go! Go! cover is beautiful. i kind of want to buy the game just for the box
Don't.
yeah, i'm going to do it because you told me not to
god, always love the japanese nes stuff. So colorful. Its like looking at candy.
Especially with how many are half yellowed
That's racist
What a flimsy cheap black & white box compared to the other Muso Treasure Box releases...

Did I mention I got some fight ultramans too?
http://37.media.tumblr.com/2dbeceb73...y76o1_1280.jpg
Oof, PS3 though.
Leave the box on the shelf to look pretty, open up and play the good versions.
Unfortunately, this set was only sold for PS3 in Japan. Planning on getting the retail PC and the 360 release when they're cheaper.
Speaking of that, I just ordered Mario Open Golf, which is in a green cart. I like how third party carts have different shapes too (though many third party games still went with Nintendo shells and mappers).
I also ordered Mario Tennis GBA from an Amazon seller using Amazon cash.
Mario Tennis is my jam!
I've always been curious about nes wars
I picked up Wolfenstein: The New Order from Fry's. I'm installing it on my old Q9650 rig in the living room. No i7 needed for this game, like the box says.
Cashed in some Sony Reward points so that I could get
Attachment 74866
Had to delete 4 games in order to make room.
I really need that 64gb card...
Is that an anime rape sim? Can I borrow it if it is?
It's a fight-the-vampires-by-stripping-them-of-their-clothes-thus-exposing-them-to-sunlight sim.
and definitely not.
They need the 64GB cards on Sony Rewards. I'm sitting on a pile of points, and there's nothing I really want to spend them to get. I'm also a little concerned they'll eventually cut me off from ordering PSN/SEN cards. I think there's at least an annual limit for each type and amount.
I got by with memorizing the menus and pictures for the units. One thing to remember is that, unlike Advance Wars, repairs on units sitting on occupied cities is not done automatically.
Mario Tennis arrived and it found a nice condition Gears of War 3 at a yard sale.
Visited Half Price Books for the first time, great store.
Picked up a few cheap DS/Wii/DC games and found a mint complete copy of Crystalis GBC for $10.

I had no idea they made Jambo Safari for DS.
No idea.
Ignorance is bliss imo.
You're probably right. I thought it was Arcade only.
It might as well be.
From the Nintendo Life review (bold added for emphasis):
Quote:
Jambo! Safari: Animal Rescue is a bold attempt at converting the popular Arcade title to something more palatable for the home audience. Quite obviously aimed at younger gamers, this conversion basically boils down to a few veterinary minigames tacked on to the central animal-wrangling gameplay sections.
Yeah the first thing the game asks is if you are 10 under or over, it's understandable that they tacked onto the arcade version though ( wouldn't stop me from picking up Emergency Ambulance mind you ).
Dark times folks. Hit the point where I'll check out a DS game if I can get a complete copy for 2-3 bucks. Guy had 15 games for $30 on Craigs. Witchs Tale was a given, Robocalypse and Secret Files were on my list, the rest will get a chance before going to the garage sale pile ( Incredible Hulk wants to be Sonic FYI).
Attachment 74876
So process of elimination two times I bought Shattered Soldier it was shit. Trifecta intact IMO.
Crystalis is where it's at. Nice find.

Had a B2G1 free coupon for Game Stop that was about to expire. Didn't really plan on getting anything but the first store I checked had these three. $36.74 for all three and the girl said the same dude traded in all 3 yesterday.

edit: now I'm kind of annoyed that the LE's don't fit on my shelf with the PS3 games.

(Wheeeeee)
How much was KoF? $40 on Amazon is too steep for me.
I'm glad I don't share your burden
Mzo is our last link to TNL of 2003.
I don't even. KOF isn't like SF where shit was ripped out of it halfway through.
It was a shit game from the beginning.
Jury's out on the netcode, I haven't tried it yet but I hear it's better than it was on first release! SFIV has me wanting to play any game that's not SFIV lately.
I might even play that goddamn Persona fighter at this rate, who knows.
I tend to avoid CEs and LEs because they're clunky and bring dumb stuff I usually don't care about. Sometimes they're so cheap, though, I can't help it.
For my bday from wifey:

I didn't understand how the box worked and accidentally ripped the book of discs from the back cover to which it was glued. When I did so, this fluttered down to the ground. It was between the outer box and cardboard housing the last disc:

Fucking awesome.
whoa
does that mean you have to go to the black lodge now?
I think so bye guys.
I just watched that for the first time maybe a year ago and loved it. I'm going to need the Blu Ray set I think.
I have managed to avoid Twin Peaks entirely. I need to sit down and watch it.
I didn't like it at all.
That's a possibility I might face. Wasn't it on netflix?
Edit: Looks like it still is!
I cashed in some Sony points and went apeshit on this week's SEN/PSN sale:
- Catherine - $9.99
- R-Type Dimensions - $4.49
- Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. the Soulless Army - $3.99
- Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner 2: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. King Abaddon - $3.99
- Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga - $7.99
- Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga 2 - $7.99
- Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne - $7.99
Some of these are to replace physical or XBLA versions, but most of them I have never played before.
edit: I dream that someday PS2 Classics will be playable on Vita.
Catherine for 10 bucks? Sign me up.
Catherine on Vita would sell me a Vita.
Spectral Force 3 (X360)- $23 shipped.
Attachment 74904
Oooo I like it. So clicky. Getting into KOF XIII with it at present (PS2 to USB converter!), it's great so far.
Shou, when are you going to start a YouTube show where you showcase all of your cool shit?
Indeed. Good call.
Where do I buy one of those pads?
walmarts.
yah walmarts.
I had good luck with eBaying mine from Sapporo for $40 shipped, usually they seem to go for $80 or so boxed if you're one of those box-dudes. The KOF '94 Rebout pack has the same pad and goes for pretty high, but it's easier to find than the pad on its own.
It works great! Getting used to the horizontals took a second, but a few dozen practice dragon punches in Third Strike in either direction and I've got it figured out.
Rugal's already making excuses.
Attachment 74906
Tsk.
(Only complaint is that the cord is like... OG Japanese PS1 controller short. Extension cords are cheap and not even laggy though, so whatever!)
I would put it above the JP Saturn Pad. It really is that nice.
Hey, don't go crazy on us.
Microswitches x nicer buttons.
I've used both, and you're on crack.
Don't get me wrong, the PS2 Neo CD pad is the second best there is.
Personal taste! I had a Saturn for yeaaaaars.
I guess you could make the argument that the Neo's shoulder buttons aren't as good, but if you're using those for fighters you're doing it wrong.
Usually the shoulder buttons are for all 3 punch and kicks at once. How else would you do that with a shitty pad?
That's between you and your based god.
Real answer: 'by pushing the buttons'.
My thumb can't hit three buttons like that.
Mine can, it's rad. Pivot off the LP/LK. Or fingertips if one is feeling saucy.
Or use a shoulder button set to all 3 at once. That seems the easiest option by far.
I'm with Yeller, but I learned to play fightmans in the arcade & with my genesis 6 button pad. That shoulder button thing came in way later for me.
Try not having tiny baby hands also, this is a SWAT Pro mega tip.
are those two Bioshock Infinity dlc worth it? THey are 50% right now.
