It's this. There are a fucking shit ton of real injustices in this world. One pose from a photoshoot with, probably, dozens if not a hundred different poses is pretty low on my list. Isn't genital mutilation a thing? Aren't women sold into sex slavery on a daily basis? Have Mississippi and South Carolina suddenly gotten their act together? Is there still a wage gap? Fundamentally, isn't the "Racism = Prejudice + Power" argument counter productive? By saying if 'whites' make stereotypical jokes or appropriate the culture of 'blacks' it's racist and wrong, but if 'blacks' do, it's accepted, do you not create a parent-child relationship between races? Not only does it reinforce racism (as defined by taking race as the most significant factor in any circumstance) but it reinforces white supremacy by stating one needs protecting and not the other.
