Yeah, I want this. This + online multiplayer and character creation with the various dragon quest weapon types would be keen.
we aren't getting any dragon quests games again because japan can't figure out whey the ds games sold poorly. It couldn't be because the insane fans are mostly console and pc owners.
We're at least getting those iOS ports.

Are you high? You're talking about the DS, man. Its install base was crazy. The person who would buy the Dynasty Warriors game for their PS4 or DQX for their Wii U today but just never got around to buying the crazy successful, most-Dragon Quest-havingest system ever does not exist.Quote:

We'll probably get the Dynasty Warriors game because I'm guessing there is little text to translate. I think we'll even get the DQ Theatrhythm game for the same reason. We're not getting DQVII because it would actually take work to get it here and the fan base is small. The resources-to-potential-sales odds aren't as appealing as they are for a Dynasty Warriors or music game.

Or do you have a better explanation on why every console Final Fantasy is a block buster hit with record sales, while dragon quest on the DS can't meet square's sales expectations? Is it just that they are bad games?
Dragon Quest has never been even remotely close to as big outside of Japan as it is in Japan. It has nothing to do with the platform.
