I am playing SMT IV now and enjoying it a lot. Bravely Default was also excellent for the first quarter.

I don't really understand why given the choice, some people want portables. They don't look as good or feel as good in your hands. They'll spend most of their time gaming at home, so it being portable isn't some big advantage.
Of course it doesn't help that the western development community doesn't even touch them, so obviously the games aren't as good.

I don't mind RPGs (especially the J variants) on portable. I can play a bit when I am on the potty, or before bed time since my main consoles are hooked up in my man-cave and it is not always convenient to play there.
