Mario Party: Island Tour and Yoshi's New Island, for $15 and $20 respectively at Kmart.
We may need to stage an intervention for Geo. A portable Mario Party purchase reads like a warning sign to me.
I didn't even know they were making that game.
They have a mode that's not 3D, so if the new shit is horrible at least we'll have that.
I think.
There is. I don't play 360 anymore so w/e

Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Millenium Girl for $20, glad to finally pick it up and I got a copy with the bonus book+CD. Also some DS games I've been wanting to get in Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia ($21), Elite Beat Agents ($10), and Picross 3D ($8.50).
AGENTS ARE GO!!
Picked up Civ. Beyond Earth from the Steam Sale. Had $23 in Card Credit so it was only $12 out of my pocket. I'm ok with this.
Got the PS4 GTA/TLOU bundle from Newegg for $380 ($25 off with Visa Checkout coupon, $5 shipping), then tacked on Shadow of Mordor, Diablo 3, Dishonored GotY (360) and Theatrhythm FF Curtain Call for a total of $23 from Best Buy (with Gamer's Club discount and trade credit from the +50% bonus promo a month back, the trade-ins being the 360 versions of GTA and Diablo, plus various random crap like Heroes of Ruin). :D #kingofblackfriday
Oh, and the Sony Gold headset for $70 ($80 after tax and shipping) from Gamestop. That was actually my one misstep - I redeemed all my reward points for a $15 off coupon, not bothering to read that it was in-store only. But fuck going to the store.
Stop tempting me with that ps4 bundle!

Got an Element 40 inch TV, Target was having a deal for $120, its the first one I've had that is 120hz. Mmm hmm I sure do like it.
Persona Q-waii LE showed up a little late alongside Mega Drive Megatron.
Megatron is scary, feels like I'm gonna snap something off during the transformation.
Snap your dick off.
Cards Against Humanity is selling a box called bullshit for $6 shipped. I bought it.
I'm pretty sure it's going to be literal shit.
I bought one anyways. Because I like those guys.
Yeah, almost definite that is going to be actual shit.
lol everyone talks mess about me because I buy badass emulation devices and then they turn around spending their hard-earned $ on Amiibos and POO
What the fuck is an Amiibo and why would anyone buy it?
Transistor, Mercenary Kings and Resogun for $25 on the "flash sale".
You will never see that $25 again.
I bought a bunch of Ninja Turtles comics from this weekend's Comixology sale. They make for a good distraction.
The Archer & Armstrong volume that wasn't in the recent, Valiant Humble Bundle was also on sale. Hooray!
My Black Friday haul was small this year and totally online.
From Best Buy for $50 with reward credit:
NBA 2K15 (xb1)
Lego Marvel (xb1)
Pacific Rim (blu)
Steam, and no out of pocket cost after selling cards & such:
Dungeon of the Endless - devoured 3 hours of my time tonight
Gunhound

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey (BR) - I picked it up for $7 at Walmart yesterday.
Um Jammer Lammy (Playstation) - I finally found a complete copy of this game. I hadn't replaced it when my old apartment had been broken into some 12 years ago, and I just had the disc since then. I got it from Half-Price-Books for $5.
Call of Duty 2 (PC) - Half-Price-Books had a boxed complete copy for $6.
The only shopping I did for myself this weekend was to get $50 in eShop credit for 15% off from Best Buy. I'm ready for the Sega 3D Classics.
I got Tales of Xillia 2 for $20 on BF. I feel so dirty.
Where did you find that?
gamestop
Timing on PS1 and PS2 rhythm games is pretty much broken across the board. Vib Ribbon is surprisingly playable, but otherwise I play stuff like Lammy on my Vita.
I first played Lammy on ps3 and yeah, it's unplayable past the airplane level. I just thought that I sucked, but when I bought the disc and played it through a ps1 I flew through that level.
I'll probably play it on my PS2 hooked up to a HD-CRT.
What's funny is that even running a PS2 though an HDTV gets you less input lag than a PS3 for PS1/PS2 games. I can play stuff like Lammy or Bust a Groove just fine that way.
Been going on a silly spending spree due to recent events, I guess.
Picked up the Ultra Street Fighter IV add-on and Gunhound on Steam with $5 of trading card money and some actual money. Might jump on a 4-pack of Gauntlet later.
And maybe Mass Effect Trilogy for $15 on Origin? Will I even have time for that?
Nope!
Yeah, I've been thinking about picking up the ME Trilogy on the PC. I've played the 1st chapter on the 360 and played through the entire trilogy on the PS3. After playing the PC demo of ME3, the visuals alone convinced me that I needed to get the superior offering on PC.
It is, but you can't use a gamepad.
Right, but what I'm saying is that I had no lag on my HDTV through the PS2, which just shows how terrible the PS3's handling of PS1/PS3 games is.
And, really, I wouldn't want a CRT in my home at this point. The gaming benefit is negating by having to make room for one of those ugly things again. *heh*
I have (2) CRTs in my office. A 32" Sony Wega Hi-Scan and a 27" Sony Wega (SD). I need the SD set for light gun games and the 32" (4:3) is perfect for the Gamecube, PS2 and Xbox in 480p. I use a 52" Samsung LCD in the livingroom, with a PS3, 360 and a moderate gaming PC. It'll be a sad day when my 32" CRT dies, that's for sure.
Yeah, I can understand why some would not want to own a CRT nowadays, but there's no better display for classic consoles than a heavy old CRT.
This is what I have in my game room (not my actual TV). It's 27'' and I love how old consoles look on it, but it is a fucking BEAST. I have it in a corner because it's so damn deep.

I hooked my old Samsung 27 inch in my office last week. Even with having a nice hd set with a xrgb mini the crt is still the best for the oldness.
