Yeah, wife has to go to work at 6pm on Thanksgiving day to work for six hours, because that's when her mall is opening.
I really hate America sometimes. People can't just take a day off and spend it with family or friends or being lazy watching Netflix or whatever. They have to go to the mall and buy a bunch of junk because it's supposedly cheap.
As a former retail monkey, that pisses me off. I would have refused to work.

It makes me sad that places here in Canada are starting to do that as well.
