RE4 has been milked to death. Please let it go.
It was a great GameCube game. I tried to revisit it a year ago, it does not particularly hold up.
That Capcom greed. 4/5/6 could be backwards compatible on XONE.
I guess it's nice you'll be able to have 0/1/2/4/5/6 on one console.
$20 apiece too, lol.
I might want RE5 just to play co-op with a new audience though.
Putting those PC ports to work.
There are so many of these damn things I can't even remember if this is new news, but Batman Arkham HD Collection is coming.
Um... Wasn't that already HD?
It's one thing when a console exclusive series is released on better hardware and tweaked for it. It's another thing when a game is going to be re-released and still look worse than when I played it four years ago on PC.
pc master race bitches
Because one Call of Duty a year isn't enough, Modern Warfare - Remastered.
I'd be down with buying the remasters separately if they aren't expensive. I enjoy running through a cod campaign once in a while for $15.

This is apparently a PS4 exclusive.
What are the odds that we'll get bombarded with 4K remasters of HD games when the new consoles drop?
Less than you may think in my opinion, simply because the assets for games targeted at consoles were unlikely to be created at 4K. If it's just an upscale, they might as well let the hardware do it.
Some cool background info on Wild Guns- http://shmuplations.com/wildguns/
I'm all in for Wild Guns.
The best game. For once this would be welcome, even a straight PC port. No GFWL etc.
I'd buy it again just because the developers deserve money and I bought it used the first time.
A former TNL'er I was always kinda iffy on posted "Boooo!!! This game was garbage, dunno why they would waste the time remaking it" a few days ago and it helped solidify my opinion.
(but not really, because it's okay to not like things I like and I'm not 12)
It's no Bullet Witch or Metal Storm
They should quote that in a call out on the packaging.
Bullet Witch needs a sequel or remake.
I forgot that game.
New trailer:

I hope it ends up on pc with kb&m controls.
So, is that a robot and a weiner dog? Day 1
Robot? At most she's a cyborg, and maybe not even that - those Officially Licensed Sparks Nevada: Marshall On Mars Robot Fists could just be gauntlets, not part of her body.
e - Oh wait, you meant the drone following the dog around, didn't you?
Isn't this akin to the Sega CD adding a redbook soundtrack? Did you know the eyes can only see so many pixels so if it's 4k then 5k it's not much different?

I was looking for this thread. 20 dollars is steep for what amounts to 8 levels.
Plus it's Gearbox, so they're not getting $1 from me, but I thought others may be interested.
The fact that Doom and Doom II are both BC and this is not, nor probably ever will be at this point is a bit lame. That being said, playing through almost the entire game in a single night with a group of TNL'ers years ago was probably enough for me to never need to play the game again.
Damn, I remember calling Apogee/3D Realms weekly to see if this game was out yet in the days before the internet. I'm so fucking old.
I might buy this for the new levels when it's $5.
Keep fucking that chicken Gearbox.
It's not enough to get excited yet, but...

It will be a subtitle of a Guilty Gear game or appear on the belt buckle of a Guilty Gear character, I'm certain.
Our collective prayers have been answered. Lego Harry Potter is being remastered.
I still haven't really played a Lego game. They seem like they're for people with kids y/n? Babby's first videogame?
I found them enjoyable before I had a kid, but you don't need to play more than a couple of them, so make sure you pick your favorite license.
Wrong thread
BioShock: The Collection is free on Steam to owners of the original releases, much like Skyrim.
Guess I'll take another crack at liking Bioshock.
don't bullshit us
According to Steam, I have 73 minutes on Bioshock 1 and all of 13 on Bioshock 2. Sounds about right.
Too bad even Steam can't give away taste.
Pffff I guess not, you'd have some by now.
Bio shock 1 didn't grab you?
Not even a little bit. I tried. The entire "walk here, get locked in a room to watch a movie, walk there, watch another movie" thing is dull as shit. Especially when the movie's that hacky.
:wtf:
Hey, whatever you wanna spend your time playing buddy. You're free to have a higher opinion of it than I do.
I'm not questioning your opinion with that smiley. I'm wondering what game you were playing.
Bioshock! You keep it. All yours. Whatever is supposed to be compelling about it apparently wasn't.
I don't really go in for the 'interactive experience walking tour' stuff. Maybe that's your thing? That's ok!
Agreed. They're frankly doing everything they reasonably could.
You might try playing past the first 20 minutes. Even if the story doesn't grab you (which is fine, since "Ayn Rand Was Wrong About Everything" isn't nearly as clever as everyone seems to think it is), take some time to appreciate the art design. Rapture is still one of the better-realized settings in a game and is interesting to look at pretty much all the way through.
Oh, and if you're looking for the BioShock that's fun to play, you should give 2 another go.
Again with the virtual walking tour. I think the gameplay just puts me off, the hook just isn't getting me. There are plenty of FPS games I've put a lot of time into, but this is more on the "Rage" side of things.
Like I said, I'll give it another shot whenever this re-up comes out.
I've tried playing Bioshock a couple of times. I appreciate the atmosphere, but the game didn't grab me either.
Maybe something will click, who knows. It's 'well loved', maybe there's something I'm missing.
Not every game has to be enjoyed by every gamer.
May be. Not enough of you fuckers understand Donkey Kong Jungle Beat, I think.
Was it available on another d/l service? I most definitely have it on my tower, but it's not on my steam list.
And I too didn't get grabbed by it. But it's a rare FPS that can do that anyway.
I thought they were all flawed. Mostly in the way they represent the ideologies that they are fore and against. The writers did not dig very deeply into the subject material. And the shooting parts were easy and just required persistence. The DLC were the doctor helps you and you are in a big daddy suit is the best overall story of any of it.
But the idea of each is fun to think about. There is just something about infinite that sticks in the brain.
My DK:JB is still sealed on my shelf. I won't front.
What a waste. Just give it away to a decent person with a Wii, you don't need it.
I am ashamed, Robot. Ashamed.
I knew this day was coming when he went to Bloomington.
So Ubisoft just cannot stay away from releasing an AC game, even when they say they are going to take a year off. They are remastering the Ezio trilogy to be released in November.

I remember reading that a couple days ago, and I cared so little I didn't even think to post it in this thread. I'm glad you picked up the slack in case someone is interested.

The greatest game is getting the treatment
Published by Gearbox :(
Womp womp womp
I just want to know if it has anything new...the PC version is already fine
I'm playing the 360 game on and off. Still great.
This may be the most random thing
Ha! I was just playing that the other day to test an xbox. I thought it was a good game.
I seem to remember it being OK.
When it sat alongside Blinx, Vexx, and Tork, it being OK made it seem far more than that.
I messed with the original a few months back, it was alright, but I don't know that I care about a remaster of it.
I don't understand how anybody but early adopters ended up playing that in the first place.
The game came out 2 years after the system launched...
lol, who could know?
Like most mascot platformers of that era, playing the demo was enough for me.
Has anyone played the Ezio Collection? I've been reading a lot about the ancient world and the idea of pouncing about in Rome is really appealing to me, even though I really didn't like AC2. So I'd get it for Brotherhood first and foremost and if I can find it for cheap...
So Capcom have announced that they are going re-remaster the Devil May Cry games. And they will release on March 18.
Meh.
remake culture is ruining modern gaming, pls stop devs
wait first remake burning rangers, vagrant story, and maybe just update elevator action returns to be on everything
also just keep redoing katamari every gen or so
okay but after that only original stuff
I want a networked remake of The Outfoxies real bad.
Jumping Flash! VR or bust.
