Played through the Genesis Double Dragon port that Gohan sold me for a very generous price. It's pretty good! It's not arcade perfect but it's still fun and co-op works well.
As much as that and the Master System version get shit on these days, there certainly were far worse arcade ports at the time.
I played the shit out of the arcade and was the first one in my little town to beat it on one quarter (by spamming the elbow of course). I thought the MS version was great at the time.
I hate the MS version. The fighting itself is too fucked up for it to be any fun. It turns Double Dragon into Bayou Billy.
I like the Game Sack Videos from time to time plus I like the Angry Joe stuff as well. Some people just have to hate on something they think other people enjoy too much.Quote:
