Finally picked up my preorder:
http://www.gamestop.com/common/images/lbox/101678b.jpg
$60 MSRP
-$20 price adjustment when it goes on sale on Sunday
-$8 for Gamer's Club Unlocked
-$10 preorder Reward Certification
----
$22 + tax, all of which was covered by a gift card anyway
That extra $20 saved it from cancellation, as discussed for far too long in the game's thread.
While we were there, my daughter got this as well:

She now has the only two Amiibos in the house.

every time I see Yoshi hauls and how such-and-such was free I think to myself "opportunity cost"
I hauled 5 dollars worth of PS1 Classics to not play on my Vita
-
Opportunity of what? I was probably getting paid during the time I was debating it. ;)
edit: For the record, that is why I usually use quotes around "free."

Maybe he's talking about the cost of us reading about it.

You get what you pay for!

Target clearance isn't what it used to be, but there are still some righteous deals to be had.
Like when I got that $400 camera for $12.97 a few years back.

The Hitchcock bluray set went on sale again so I bought that. It's kind of annoying because there are a bunch of small differences between the UK and US set, and the UK set is like 50-60 dollars cheaper. Slightly better cover for the UK, way better disc artwork for the US, no North by Northwest in the UK set, no original Vertigo audio in the UK, no original Psycho audio in the US set etc. Eventually decided on the US set for the disc art, NBNW and Vertigo audio since I already have Psycho.
Also bought a Russian bluray of Hard to be a God that I'm going to try and add subtitles to. That movie sounds incredible.
