I will say that the price expectations on this thing that most people were carrying were nonsensical as all get-out, given the evidence. Nintendo's still selling Wii U's at $299 four years after launch, and you thought they were going to undercut that with a new system with a bigger, better screen? That it was going to cost $0-50 more than what they want for a New 3DS XL? You dumb as hail.
(The peripheral prices are indeed beyond the pale, though. Yikes.)
What kind of batteries do the joy cons use? What kind of battery life? It's going to suck if one side dies before the other.
I'm sure they're just rechargable Li-ion. They'd have to be bulkier if they took replacable batteries.
This could be the last Nintendo console ever made.

Saw a lot that I'm personally interested in, but little that would suggest this won't be Wii U 2 in sales performance. Guessing the real JP mass market launch will be Switch Mini with Monster Hunter 5/Pokemon and a decently sized library by that time.

I hope Xenoblade continues as its thing and XCX continues as its thing. I'm greedy and want both. (hoping for XCX1 upgraded port in 2018 and XCX2 in 2019, XB3 2020, etc.) That new rpg with the bravely character designs looked neat.
