Even the Dodgers, Astros, and Rangers wore blue hats, so the Cardinals were really any other color's only hope.

deGrom beat Kershaw and Greinke in a 5 game playoff series. It is something that sounds like it is impossible but it happened.

It never did seem impossible to me. If the Mets had an offense for the first half of the season, deGrom would have been a strong Cy Young candidate, and Kershaw has been garbage when it matters.

edit: If the Mets beat the Cubs, this would be the first World Series between expansion teams, which seems hard to believe.
