Harper is still very young and he's nowhere near as bad as he was when he first got drafted. Regardless, he's fun to watch and he's a huge driving force behind his team. You can't deny the fact that the guy plays his heart out. I like Mike Trout a lot more but he comes across as almost kind of boring outside of his actual playing.Quote:

If any "normal" person acted like him (while including performance), he wouldn't be shit-canned he'd be dominating whatever industry he was in and have the respect of all of his peers. You could do a lot worse for a professional athlete. The guy isn't that bad. He's a fierce competitor and he shows it by currently being the top hitter in baseball. He also seems to be completely free of controversy off the field (as far as I know anyway). I can't recall a recent incident of anyone having anything negative to say about him either, from playing to management. I really have a feeling that your distaste for him has more to do with him playing for a divisional rival than anything else because baseball loves him.Quote:

I'm alright with Harper. He is kinda douchy but like Diff says..he's 22. Most people are jackasses and immature even at that age.
