I just realized how incredibly weird it is that Sony likes this Shenmue 3 project enough to give it several minutes of their press conference but not enough to just go ahead and fund it themselves.
It's gonna cost a lot more than $2M to make this game.

Good God Sony killed it tonight. FF VII Remake, fuckin' Shenmue III and The Last Guardian confirmed and with some gameplay. I like Phil Spencer okay and all but he's gotta be feeling like Justin after Evo moment 37 right about now.
