Cops and African Americans have had a troubled relationship for over a century. Most of that is due to poverty and turning to crime due to lack of employment, opportunities and motivation. It's been going on forever, yet the media and politicians only began covering cop abuse post Occupy Wall Street. Same goes for 'the war on women'. Are these because baiting people on race and sex makes them emotional and more likely to take action? Or is it to take the spotlight off Wall Street?
