The last time Baltimore had a Republican mayor was 1967. Maryland has only had two Republican governors since 1969. I don't see these people asking for anything to change where it matters.

edit: It's also worth noting that the mayor, state’s attorney, police chief and city council president are black. The city council is 100% Democrat too.

The African American unemployment rate in Alabama is 12.4%, which is more than double the national average. I guess Alabama needs to stop electing Democrats.

Democrats hold "about 65% of county offices, including circuit and district judges, circuit clerks, sheriffs, county commissions, school boards, coroners and various tax and revenue positions."

edit: That includes the mayor's office in the state's largest city, Birmingham, which is as close as Alabama gets to the "urban" I stated. He also happens to be black.
