Yeah, that's the promise of a Smart home. You have access to control everything digitally. She's loaded so it's a model home of the future. What's strange about fsociety growing but being hunted? Edit: Darlene isn't the only one, I didn't recognize Mobley (Darlene gives him the USB to install the ransomware at E Corp).

When take me home started playing, I immediately thought, " well, Sats is feeling some stirrings."

I was totally crying by the time the song got loud enough to tell what it was, and my husband was like "WHAT? WHAT???" and I'm like, "PHILLLLL!!!!!!!!!!! THIS IS PERFECT!!" (props to the sound person for that too, it was a well produced scene - the faint music swelling into full volume.)

God bless good TV.

Good point about Darlene, she's dealing with the 4chan/reddit-ization of her group. A bunch of digital knuckleheads being loud and obnoxious, doing stupid meaningless shit like castrating the bull statue - when there's such a bigger game that needs to be won.

They put so much effort into covering their tracks but it's the stupid shit like taking pictures that gets you caught. "I didn't send them anywhere..." Doesn't matter dipshit, you're making evidence and a trail.

I understand what a smart home is. I think it's just my prejudice against the idea showing.

This episode was very good but it's pretty obvious he's imprisoned somewhere. I hope that idea being a swerve wasn't the intent of the entire season. I have no idea why I'm so hard on this show.

They set things up to be plausible and there is real world precedent for all of it. They don't go into the nitty gritty so there is an actual show to watch. Right now a home like that would have parts from like 7 companies. Getting all that to talk to each other is a bitch and makes a hack much more compolicated, but expoits have been found. They imply that the gear is all from one company to simplify things and to get to the point.

This show man. This show. He's definitely in a mental hospital too, I can't see any way around that.
The scene with both the puke and cement, wow...one of the most graphic things I've seen on TV.

Okay, that was one of the most disarming 25 minutes of TV ever. That Budweiser commercial threw me into a time warp. All of a sudden I was back in the living room from my childhood. I usually don't "fall" for stuff like that, but this show man.....this show. I really thought I was losing it for a second.

It went on for the length of a sitcom, that shit is BONKERS.

I'm still just sitting here thinking about it, how we're so #blessed to live in an age of TV that utilizes these mind bend techniques. I know that sounds kind of pretentious but I feel like there's so many things that a great TV show brings to culture.

real talk - season 1 was definitely "best show on TV" caliber. S2 is quite good (the dining table dream sequence was something special) but hasn't really approached what S1 brought to the table when exploring the introduction to the characters & setting.

I watch it as well, but I only read this thread when I'm caught up. I was watching the most recent one late last night and kept falling asleep. So I'd wake back up and rewind it and ended up watching the whole thing about three times.

This show is pretty great. It would be one of the best things ever if Fight Club didn't exist.

She's pretty broken as well so it makes sense.

Yeah, in the end I think it was more of an attack against her bf than her. She could have reconciled it as getting away from a dirtbag.

The time between the hack and right now is about 2 months, so Elliot isn't in there for very long. I guess we'll find out next week why. Also, I don't believe Mr. Robot's story either. I think you can keep your hopes and dreams alive Sats.

There was a lot to love. Angela getting told she's a cock sucker at the party. Darlene talking on the subway at the end was awesome. I liked seeing Mobley and Trenton meeting for the first time and holy shit the paranoia when they go home. Brilliantly shot.

Angela has skyrocketed to my favorite character. She's just amazing. Just a few more steps, and she's the female Tyrell.

Loved the girl power. I was glued to every second of the episode.

No, no, I mean Angela! Darlene's sadism has been obvious since the beginning, her killing the chick isn't surprising. Angela's is a slow build. It's hard to explain, but despite her reservations in the first season, her crawling closer and closer to depravity is a lot more sick than Darlene's behavior. Her aloofness is intriguing.

Slow but they covered a good amount of ground. Elliot disassociating that much was really disturbing. Angela keeps proving she's an idiot. N00b might be a better term.

I know :( the only thing is I think other people have mentioned Tyrell, but who the heck knows. Does that mean Elliot was the guy curb stomping hobos?

There's just no way a number of scenes work with Tyrell being Elliot. A major one being the board room meeting in season 1 about the first hack where Elliot, Tyrell, Gideon and Angela were all in the room and all interacted with both Tyrell and Elliot.

And Elliot went to Tyrell's office looking for him and the secretary told him Tyrell wasn't there and didn't work there anymore. If Elliot was Tyrell the reaction would be more of why are you asking about yourself.

Plus Gideon suspected Elliot was involved in hacking but told Tyrell about the honeypot which would make no sense for him to do if they were the same person.

I don't like how focused this is becoming on contrived swerves (or maybe just the audience). It's starting to feel like the M. Night Shaymalan of TV shows.

Nope, Leon works for the Dark Army, so they've tracked those two down already.

They are dead (probably). That kid, Elliot's friend in jail, works for Dark Army and Whiterose. He mentions something like "Do you have the time?" which is an obvious call out for Whiterose. The Dark Army tracked them down to eliminate them, or bring them back in (doubtful).

I'm thinking based on what Trenton was saying they'll be abducted and factor in to later seasons.
