Interesting that Iwata mentioned Space Invaders since HAL worked on a SI clone for C64. I'm not sure if he was involved with it, though. Iwata programmed a Galaxian clone for the Vic-20. I watched a video of it and it looks much better than the Atarisoft port. I wonder how many early Nintendo games he was involved with. Balloon Fight and Pinball are good stuff. Iwata did some good stuff with HAL and Nintendo and it's sad to see him gone.
