Purple Man is pretty powerful.
Doctor Doom does.
TOOT
God Doom!
I give a fuck about anything marvel at this point, but this looks up my alley.
Angry Badguy David Tennant is a good look, he did that well in the Harry Potterman movies.
I went into this knowing nothing about JJ and thought it was great. A lot to love. I don't think there is a bad episode, but it probably could have been cut down to 12 instead of 13. The Netflix Marvel relationship is some impressive stuff.
They might as well just close up shop on the ABC stuff, it can't hang.
ABC still has that audience of people too lazy to change the channel. They're probably churning them out like porn scripts at this point.
I still kinda like Agents of Shield though it's not nearly Daredevil/JJ.
Both of those, however, beat what the CW is putting out handily. Haven't given Supergirl a try yet.
The entire story with the superhuman commando cop guy was retarded. I assume that he'll be Luke Cage's villain for his mini-series or some shit. The actor played him very well though—total douchebag. I watched this over the last week or two and I liked it (moreso than Daredevil). I enjoyed Killgrave as an enemy. They did a great job of casting him as a petulant man-child that gets everything he wants.
Didn't like seeing cop from The Wire bite the bullet :(
Does the pacing pick up at all? I'm like 2 episodes in, and so far the pacing has been almost painfully slow. Granted DD had this problem too I thought, where most episodes could have lost 10 - 15 minutes and not suffered. I swear you could have cut 20 minutes from the first episode of Jessica Jones and nothing would have been lost.
Sorta. That's why I said a good 50 minutes could be cut from the total run time to help the pacing. The action picks up in the last 4 episodes. The best fight is in 11.
That is Nuke. basically a super insane patriotic captain america. im guessing him, JJ, and Luke all tie in some how. From what i understand i think Cage happens before than after he gets his powers. so way before he meets JJ. if you know his story than you know why he cant be near cops.which they touch on a few times. i dont think simpson is going to be back until maybe defenders.
I cant wait to see Iron Fist. Netflix is killing it.
Also side note. Badlands isn't half bad.
Watched the first episode and was a bit disappointed. I hate the main character, she's ridiculous at best. I'll stick with it because I want to see creepy Tennant, but yeah....kind of a snoozefest. Badlands is way, way, way, way better.
Creepy Tennant pays off in creepyness.
Whole thing could have stood to be maybe one or two episodes shorter (certain threads just feel like filler), but all in all very solid.
I gave it a few episodes. All I see is that bitch from apartment 23 and Jesse's dead girlfriend.
?
I don't know what either of those things are.
Not knowing one of them assures me of the quality of your taste just as much as not knowing the other puts it in doubt.
Ohhhhh Breaking Bad. Yup never saw that. Will eventually, I hear good things.
Breaking Bad is a wayyyy better show than Jessica Jones is, haha. It's definitely worth watching.
I don't really like the actress, that's sort of some of my issue with the show.
She's a less hot Mia Kirshner.
I watched the last few episodes because people were watching them and kind of got my fill, but people will prattle fucking *endlessly* about that goddamn show if you don't shut that shit down right away.
It was terrific
FUCK THIS SHOW FOR MAKING ME LIKE IT AUGHH
Ahhahaha
Does this speed up? I'm 4 eps in and they're so goddamn long winded.
It finally goes somewhere in episode 7. they could have let the first 6 episodes go, seriously.
That sequence in the penthouse when she sees Kilgrave for the first time was excruciating.
The only, and I mean ONLY reason to keep watching this show is the interactions between him and jessica. the rest is seriously just filler.
No, the romantic trial of Jessica Jones and Luke Cage is a love story for the ages. She punched his wife, damnit.
However, Director to Dawson: "Can you think of way to make the scrubs look good?" Dawson: "Oh, you mean like just put them on?" fuuuuuuuuu
I've been away for a while, so I'm wondering... Has Satsuki always been this shrill and irritating? It's like MySpace hair got trapped in a post Facebook world and had to relearn how to talk.
I'm glad all the real problem posters are finally getting their comeuppance. Soon we can take down Calliander, and then set sights on that beacon of discord, NeoZ.
If she just fucking slit his throat when she captured him the first time she would have saved so many fucking people and the useless filler episodes where she has to deal with Nuke.
Hahaha why did this turn into a Satsuki call out post? Is it 2007 again?
I know, right?
That guy.
