Well if you go back far enough, they didn't even have special rooms for the gutter. If you look at photos of the original ford assembly lines they had them on the opposite wall to the line. You worked, then stepped 10 feet away, pissed, then went back to work.
All this hub bub about bathrooms shows just how absurdly privileged we are. It wasn't but 65 years ago that many places in the us did not have their own bathrooms. Many places didn't have indoor bathroooms. Of those that did, it was 1 toilet, unisex.
Why are we making laws? Because some people still find lbgt people icky. This whole thing hinges on wanting special treatment and assuming AL trans people or uncontrollable pedophiles.

WRONG FE!
My Facebook tells me it's to keep all you pervy men from throwing on a wig so you can enter the ladies room and diddle little girls. There's even hundreds of unsourced make believe news stories detailing it happening RIGHT NOW!
You forced us to let tey gays marry, and now my neighbor is marrying his goat.
I can't wait for Jesus to come back and set you all on fire for eternity. Because He is love.

It's odd that people that beleive gun laws won't stop criminals with guns, beleive that bathroom laws will stop criminals with bones and wigs.
I'm really at the point that I think 75% of both sides will beleive whatever they are indoctrinated to beleive by their comminity leaders. A rational consistent system of thought does not exist.
And when indoctrination does not exist, most people go with their gut and feelings.

I like the thoughts of another conservative I know at work that actually thinks.
He says the hell with what southern women want. Everyone that looks like a woman, just go to the ladies room and get done and leave. He doesn't want to have to explain what gender is to his 6 year old because some old white woman is worried about nothing, which will be the outcome of this law. Passable trans women in the men's room.

Sometimes I think the current victim culture is a cry out against our own growing isolation as technology grows and expands
People pretend to be greater victims than the really are, just so someone will love them just for a second
Desperately wanting to be noticed by senpai

It would explain one person's religious adherence to the shunning of spellcheck.
-
I do a lot of this on my phone these days
-
We can only imagine a world where phones have spellcheck.
-
