There was absolutely no housing crash in NYC. True story. Prices didn't go down.
They went down in places that were fundamentally worthless. Like the giant burbs people kept building out in the middle of huge deserts.

Yeah, but Drew is a sociopath.
I don't see them posting about unique opportunities.
They do post about getting new jobs but either the job isn't unique to their area or they got it from a head hunter or they're going to have to move and the place could have got anyone from anywhere.
But no, not a lot of "I only got this awesome job because I live in Duckburg, otherwise Scrooge might have never met me"
For what it is worth, my comments are more aimed at property costs and not living in cities, so don't see saying a crack house isn't worth 3 mill as a personal slight against your dreams
I just bought a house in Philly and my mortgage is under $1000/mo. My wife & I both like our jobs and our commutes are 15-20 minutes. We like cool stuff and living here makes it easy to see cool stuff.
It's nice. *shrug*
I was awaiting that. Also figured it would be from you.
>Philly people implying Philly is like nyc
But yes. Living in a city no one cares about for less is an option.
So unless a job is totally unique to that zip code moving there is a waste?
If you want to work in tech it really does make sense to live in the Bay Area. If you want to work in finance living in New York is a good idea. That doesn't mean that there are only jobs there.
And don't worry I have no dreams.
Tech will move you. You don't have to live there for the opportunity.
And you can pay more when you move out there because everyone has bought into the shit.
Ok.
I will concede that Philly was nice.
