Maybe not the best version, but still a good version and it is at least uncensored. Not sure why the Edisons were turned into smurfs in the later versions of MM1 either.

It makes no sense to me when they aren't blue. That NES music is pretty fantastic as well, really makes the game.
Bonuskun The Mod is the last remaining shred of similarity to other internet forums.
If I wasn't getting any complaints from people how some folks are just being insufferable on the boards, I would just let shit slide.
There is one problem, and it has a simple solution.
Nick charge $100 a month to post, thus locking out the plebeians?
The problem might be the only one left in that scenario, since he'd get the best bang for the buck.
I noticed they are also blue in the 2nd DOS, Amiga, and Atari ST version. Odd how none of those versions were chosen either. Don't get me wrong, I still plan to pick the NES version up, though I might just play the proto version since it seems to be complete and it's less censored.
The censorship really isn't a huge deal as long as you get the hamster detonation version. 8 bit statue titties = who cares.
From what I heard, the hamster one is the more common version, so no worries there. As far as playing the NES version with mouse, the original censored version works in ScummVM, but it makes the main characters look like the Simpsons.
Nurse Edna had it the worse as far as the censorship, most of her suggestive dialog was changed.
