Last week I picked up a glorious 21" Trinitron CRT VGA monitor, and today I got in a Raspberry Pi 2 and some Buffalo SNES USB pads. The intention is to set it up for RetroPie to use with this monitor, and to also use it as an internet terminal. I've only messed around with the Raspbian OS so far, and aside from having to relearn Linux stuff that I've forgotten it works pretty damn well for a $35 computer. I'm actually posting this on the Pi. Hell, it runs the Iceweasel browser faster than my old laptop ran Firefox.
I'm jelly and I don't even own a LD player. I just want to frame & hang it.
