Also, I swear to fuck, if these are just 3 minute shorts like the currently running Mickey Mouse ones...
They're welcome to be any length they please if they actually look anything like that concept art. My goodness.
Looks gorgeous. Dig those European comic colors.
Ill watch it at all. If it as good as anything made from like 1940 to 1989 I'll be fine.
Looks too good to be true.
I'd really dig seeing that in motion.
I'd love it to look like that concept art. That would be amazing.
That looks straight out of Toon Boom, I expect it will move a bit like the newer Mickey shorts.
Ducktor Scrwhooge! Nephew Abed! :D
Tennant as Scrooge is gonna be sexually confusing to some.
Really?
Well, Satsuki is an odd duck.
I always have been and always will be.
Do you just grab onto some Ducktales?
woooo-oooooo!
I think that looks great.
The new Scrooge's voice takes some getting used to. That's not a knock against Tennant or anything, just that Young played the character for so long that his voice is iconic.
pretend he is 15 years younger.
Ok I like this.
I am going to watch the SHIT out of this series.
I can't get down with that theme song. :(
Chux's childhood is ruined. Ruined!
It's just not the same.
I like how the show looks, music makes me sad.
The song wasn't as pumping as the original, right? Listening to it again, it is a bit subdued.
America has kind of lost touch with the idea of a good opener.
No matter how many times the old adage "you can't go home again" is proven to be true, people in our age group keep refusing to believe it. No matter how many times that old IP football gets yanked away just as we're about to kick, we keep dusting ourselves off and lining up for another attempt.
You can't go home even when you are home. It's like transformers. The seasons after the movie are different from the ones before. Shows and movies change.
I wonder if fans of the Carl Barks comics loathed the first TV show.
I'd bet most of them had no idea it (the cartoon) existed. Kids in the 50s would have been pushing 50 when the cartoon launched. Grown ups in the 90s (for the most part, of course there were some that did) didn't focus on kid stuff the way everyone does now.
This thread is a lot more entertaining if you add "here in Duckburg" at the end of every post.
Your arms are broken.
See, it totally works.
If I'm not avail, you taco nazi
This was perfect btw
Abso-damn-lutely perfect.
Did you guys catch the references? Mentioning Cape Suzette and Spoonerville?
