I couldn't really decide the best place to put this. The thread is for the wedding of music and animation/film. Its a really interesting phenomena that happened from the mid 70s to the early 90s and still continues in japan. The US seems to have dabbled in it in the 80s and early 90s. There is something fascinating about a show's best music and animation being dumped into a 90 second intro or series climax.
It probably started in the 30s with Betty Boop.
It is also nice when real musicians pare animation with songs
I would post the intro for Nichijou, but everything on youtube is way less insane than whatever bootleg I used to have.
