How many people actually buy a system for 3rd party games? All the big stuff is available on PC. You're either buying a PS4 for 1st party games or a cheap PC that you don't have to futz with, and heck, it's hard to see any reason to buy an XBOne besides it's a cheap PC now.
It's not only you saying it, i keep seeing people believing that 3rd party support will suddenly make Nintendo appealing and it's really difficult to believe when everyone has a computer these days.
I bought Xbox One for Fallout 4. The purchase decision is based on the simple motivation to get out to the store. I chose XBone because friends had it.
I don't think I'd buy another Nintendo console. I can't justify the purchase for the 2-3 games I'll actually want to play on it.

I wouldn't say it sucks. I've gotten plenty of hours of enjoyment out of this gen both on the PS4 and Xbone. It just hasn't been nearly as fresh as last gen was in the same time frame.
