I can't come up with any target audience where that would be appropriate. Even the gimped Wii made more sense than that.

How does that work? Is it based on the priority your Rift was ordered in?

Right, exactly that. I'm not sure it matters, though. Supplies are supposed to be fine.

I'm gonna have to try Thumper, I think.

Thumper is getting a lot of good buzz. The PC version isn't going to have VR support at launch though. I'll probably hold off until it does

VR is nice for Thumper but not necessary. Also, Thumper is awesome and everyone should play it right now. I can actually see myself going back and replaying the whole game start to finish when PC VR support is released.

It's like Obduction. I'm sure the game's fine on a monitor, but I'd like to play it for the first time with VR and I don't mind waiting.
