A 12 pack of Ecto Cooler from Amazon.
Which I'm flipping like a dirty scalper on eBay because idiots are paying upwards of $20 per can.
Saving 3 for myself though.

I'm keeping 3, so no.
Ecto Cooler? You're a Ghostbuster now?
I heard there's something strange in his neighborhood.
I do live one house away from a Cemetery.
Scurge is a decent isometric Metriod clone.
I remember playing through & enjoying it on GBA around when it came out. Never tried the DS version.
I picked up Fable II from Half Price Books for $4. I probably paid too much.
Amazon showed me!

LOL that better not happen to mine that are supposed to show up tomorrow.

In non drink related news, my wife picked these out for me.

I went to Disneyland for a few days, and apparently I am a pin collector now. Why the hell is Disney so good at extracting money from wallets?
Because you are weak.
Those pin things are such a scam, hell the whole Disney is a scam. I didn't let my daughter buy that shit.
YOU LACK DISCIPLINE
Try bringing your old lady to Disneyland. I paid around $50 for a pink hoodie she's worn maybe a couple of times a year. It just hangs by the front door now.
Get one of those child harness leashes for when you take her out.
I bought my wife a Minnie Mouse wallet and a t-shirt when we went 3 years ago. She still uses them both. I got my mom a wind chime from Animal Kingdom that she still has hanging on her porch. Ask me what I bought for myself, lol. I have no idea what it was or where it could be. Bitches be schoolin' me!
They've got you trained Melf. It's over dude!
Going to Disneyland is like sailing your boat past the sirens. You're going to get sucked in, it's just a matter of when.
Pax tickets! Was going on vacation to the west coast anyways and pax just happens to start the weekend we arrive.
Shit I didn't even notice they went on sale yesterday. Ah well, guess I won't go this year.
The sound is terrible, bit otherwise it's a pretty fun little thing.
Yoshi come eat with us.
There will be dead cow!
Terrible, but it's due to inaccurate sound emulation, not the hardware. It's a shame because the screen and actual gameplay is excellent. Some games are better than others, Sonic sounds a little weird but is fine, Streets of Rage I can only play with the volume off.

This was waiting at home for me, but had to run off to Job 2. Womp Womp
Emulation station, or some dad-core project?
New Amiibos! Waddle Dee is shipping a week later for some reason.

My daughter has the SSB versions of all of those, and I wish we had waited.
I have the old Kirby as well but I never found Meta Knight or Dedede for a reasonable price. These will do fine in their place and were only $11 each after tax thanks to amazon prime.
This diorama kit for them is very tempting.
Friend of the family brought over a bunch of medical books for my daughter to look through (she's studying to be a physician's assistant).
Mixed in were these:

Looks like Uncharted 3 is going to have to wait a bit...

The short version is that PA and NP (nurse practitioner) are functionally the same mid level practitioner, but the primary difference between them is that PAs can never function independently (as their assistant title states) but NPs can. In some states NPs can even run their own practice.
There used to be larger gulf among things like how many and what types of med scripts could be written, but they've become almost the same thing over the years. Granted, much like MD vs. DO there can be people who prefer one over the other because of how the name sounds and associations from decades-old differences that no longer apply.
PA is still good (it's still on my list of possible future choices) but the requirement to forever be attached to a physican seems needlessly limiting.
Tell her to go MD or do and not settle.
I'm reeeeally trying to parse that one.
Tell her to go to the MD or DO and get a good one
But why would he capitalize one and leave the other???
Cause phone you pedantic dickbutt
Because the phone capitalized one for him, but not the other one.

I don't have the base game yet, but the announcement of Gremlins, Goonies, The A-Team, and E.T. to add to BttF, Scooby Doo, Batman, Ghostbusters, Jurassic World, and Portal took care of the rest of my willpower on that. Best Buy has this one priced at $11.99 instead of the MSRP of $29.99, and GCU took it to $9.60. I think they reversed the price on this level pack and the Doc Brown fun pack.
Goonies is still a draw?
Take that, sacred cow!
If you've got a rash, you can just go to the pharmacy and get something for it man. Whatever's itchin' ya.
I don't pretend it's still relevant to anyone outside of my garage, though. ;)
It's a valid point though. Disney Infinity was a good demonstration of flooding a market. Franchises like Goonies, Gremlins, and A-Team haven't enjoyed the limelight for years. Sure NECA can get away with limited runs of nostalgia items but you hit a real threat of Lego swarming a market with brands that won't do big numbers. The BTTF pack Yoshi mentioned has been marked that low for a month. My store is still sitting on them.
It may or may not be related to the fact that of all the level packs, it is the one most regarded as very short and not very fun.
Heard the same of the Simpsons pack. Maybe Lego should focus on evening out content instead franchise blitzing.

Bloodborne for less than $13, thanks to BB's 2-day sale and GCU. I'll borrow my brother's PS4 and check it out sometime soon.

Late birthday present from Phunbubbah's lady. This thing is gorgeous, can't wait till next week when the move is done to put it in the game room!

Wait, what?! Pineapple, what is that?
Fancy shadow box? Looks cool!
I've seen a lot of tutorials for those, I wouldn't be surprised since they're fairly easy to make. Looks quite nice.
I have a die cut machine at work that could do that sorta cutting.
hmmmmmm
Is this it?

Because I want it.
Yes Diff that is the exact one.
I got in a few Saturns with issues from a guy on Neo. They were in rough shape, and most didn't work but I was able to clean up one of the shells really nice and put the working components of one of the systems into it, making a nice white (not yellow!) Japanese Saturn.

Also picked up another Pro Action Replay and flashed it to allow the use of CDRs on any Saturn. Neat!
Oh man. Jealous.
I wish I had taken a before pic. It looked like total shit, and there were marks all over. I think someone's kid had art time with a permanent marker. Frankly, I'm amazed it looked that good after I dried it.
So many great games for Japanese Saturn.
I had no idea you could convince a Saturn to read CDRs by flashing a PAR. This whole time I thought the only answer was that expensive mod board/chip thing from back in the day.
news to me as well! I also would like to play shining force 3-2,3, but never bothered with the emulator(s).
I'd also like to play some these games that have gotten stupid expensive, without worry that I may damage my originals.
It's a relatively recent development. You can still pick up PARs pretty cheap, but not all of them can be flashed. I bought a new one from Amazon for $28, but it was the one without the parallel port on top and it would not flash. My old one from back in the day that had the port flashed just fine.
It's pretty simple if you have a compatible cart. Basically you burn a CD with the firmware updater, and you either need to have a chipped Saturn to create the cart (I do) or you can do the old swap trick. The chip is still better IMO, but at about $30 a chip I'm not chipping all my Saturns.
*edit*
Technically, I have an Action Replay Plus, not a PAR.
Well, I'll take the inferior port over playing a text heavy game in Japanese myself.
I just assumed there was a fan translation out there.
Privilege Status: Checked.
just did some quick googling, does this allow both region swapping and cdr use? Seems like the chips don't do both?
Not a big deal on the region deal if the PAR will work in any system. But I sure as hell not going to tinker inside my derby stallion.
Yes, I tested it using a copy of the US version of Street Fighter Alpha, and then with a legit US Street Fighter Alpha. Both ran fine, although I had to try a couple of times to get the legit game to work. The disc has a lot of minor surface scratches though, so it's probably it. I should go look for another one.
The one thing I'm not sure about is if the 4MB ram function still works, I haven't tested it yet. You lose the ability to use the cart to backup the Saturn's internal memory, I don't know if the ram function still works. I'll have to pop in Xmen vs SF or something to try it.
It was made so that you could hook it up to a PC and download new cheat codes.
I'm not sure why one works with the flasher and one doesn't since internally they should be the same (the one without the port even has solder pads on the PCB to add the port.) But there were a couple of different companies manufacturing these, it may be that the two I have aren't made by the same company. Or maybe that the one that worked was made back in 1998, while the other one was manufactured much more recently.
That is the problem with the patching of the PARs you loose the 4MB ram function and I BELIEVE you also lose the ability to transfer game saves to it.
I've got a mod chip in my saturn that is literally just one solder point.
