See I can agree with you for the most part but I just wanted one to be able to hook up to my 4k TV. It didn't matter to me too much seeing as I knew from the getgo this was going to be a "small" release. I just didn't think it would be this long in coming for a re-stock.

It wouldn't surprise me if Nintendo just threw this out as a one-off novelty goof, I don't think it's in any way meant to be their third platform or anything remotely similar.

It would be nice if it would be everywhere ("Kid's gotta learn about Nintendo!", one hears), no reason this thing can't be in every Wallgreens in the country --but I think they're ultimately more interested in selling you Virtual Console roms for $5 a shot.
