Wanna sell your other emulation thing?
I really want to try doing this whole hack thing, but I'm too scared to try. Last time I looked at the list of instructions, it was still in hardcore nerd speak.
It's suuuuuuuper easy now. They've loaded the driver into the program, all info is pulled from a database and you can even batch download cover art(still review it though).
Pick your roms, download your covers, plug your NES into your computer via USB, hold reset and push power, let go of reset after 3-5 seconds and hit synchronize.
Super simple, no bricks reported.
Do you have to do anything to make folders if I have over 100 games or does the software do it for you? I just set up the program with roms and now I'm ready once I get the Nes from my brother.
Got mine setup. It's perfect with the hacks! Had a little trouble with a driver not installing but once I figured out security was deleting, I had no problems.
Went to Walmart today. The lady I spoke to got in a total of 2 of them in stock and they were sold within minutes. I'm about at a point where I'm gonna say fuck this thing. Just tired of wasting my time only to have some fuckwit come in and buy out the little stock that comes in.
Just forget about it and pick one up off the shelf in 3 or 4 months.
^This. If I'm already at a store that would sell them I'll go look, but I'm not making any special trips, it's a waste of time.
Yeah, I'd give up too. I lucked out with the prime now shit, but I haven't seen them in stores just hanging out.
It'll eventually happen though, my wife and I finally saw a Hatchimal in the wild on Sunday and that shit was the Christmas unicorn this year.
It's like Nintendo is just fucking dumb. They should have had a lot of these in time for Christmas but yeah Nintendo gonna Nintendo. I'll just buy one if I see it on a shelf but I'm done making the effort to find one.
