Why would we even assume there is one as long as the US standard healthily remains the world currency? Japan has more to fear from disinflation and, to an extreme, deflation since their exports have historically been very strong, no?

I watched for a bit and noticed those two didn't move - what's the trigger for those to go up? Are they some kind of derivative of the total they are linked to?
Re: Discussions about the limit and it being personal. I know those numbers aren't tangible in the same way as my Discover bill, but nearly $62k/citizen and $167/taxpayer make me adjust my collar.
Also, the web guy inside me hates that first result's site. It needs to be overhauled to display the important info first and whatnot because wow, what an assault on the eyes.
This is the part I hate - not only because my fellow citizens are going to eat it unwittingly, but because they will be given a way to ascribe the blame to Democrats. And, in all likelihood, the Democrats will be responsible in some part - aside from their culpability in getting Trump elected, of course.

Look, if we're talking about war in terms of cost, yeah, it passes. Since at least Kennedy, Republicans have all increased the deficit, and democrats have all lowered it (except, narrowly, for Carter).
