Yeah that makes sense since your average idiot with a McJob can't afford a Mac. However the real geniuses would have the cash for a Mac, and choose to spend it on a bitchin' PC instead. ;)

Well shit, if Mac cost the same amount as a standard PC (which are dirt cheap) you'd get all of those 14 year old AOL girls (grrls) who think they are 'good computer hackers' because they can talk with their friends. I mean, given the choice, I'm sure they'd opt for the prettier computers that look more friendly.

I'll never forget that Penny-Arcade comic where Tycho descirbes his computer (which was nice at the time) to Chuck.

But this Switch promotion pisses me off.

Those ads don't say to me "Im switching to a Mac because its better!"

Those ads say to me "Im too retarded to work a PC so Im going to a place where I can't fuck up! Square in the circle hole!? WHY NOT!?"

those commercials piss me off...especially since they do have the funniest effect on people. I mean, remember the one Mac commercial where the iMac follows the guy? More people than there should've been would come up to our store and ask if the Mac really did that! Some ever goofed with it, trying to get to 'follow.' And now THIS?

I've gotta knock Steve Jobs around. Honest.
