Retrogamer, it came with a nice C64 remix CD. It actually sound really good and would have been better if I was familiar with any of the games.
Someone left their AirPods at work 2 weeks ago. They’re mine now.
Hey guys, I hauled a coupon
In a way, we all did today.
blood pressure pills, because for an indeterminate amount of time I've apparently been walking around right on the verge of stroking out
getting old is fun
Picked up Binding of Isaac Afterbirth + after reading good things about it, color me underwhelmed.
Children of the Zodiarc (PS4) is on sale for $10.50. I've heard it's nothing special, but it's a spiritual successor to FFT with CCG elements. I couldn't not get it.
You should not have.
Ah nuts.
Etrigan Odyssey V arrived from Amazon, complete with artbook and soundtrack sampler. I also preordered Dragon's Crown Pro PS4 and Shantae 1/2 Genie Hero Ultimate Day One Edition for Switch.
i bought the jordan peterson book on kindle.
i needed something the google books preview didn't have and my library doesn't have it and i didn't have enough time to request from another library and it feels b.a.d..
to think of all the books i stole from people i admire and love by downloading scanned .pdfs that doofus professors somehow made public. all those books i checked out of libraries for literally years instead of just buying them and giving those people money.
LORD PETERSON WINS AGAIN
"I sent money to the NRA today. I didn't mean to but they were the only charity I could think of by name."
I had $5 coupon for Target that was about to expire, so I went ahead and bought this. I'd thought about renting it this week, but I did other things instead.

I don't think I've seen a place that rents movies for at least five years.
Though not a place, you can't swing a dead cat around here without hitting a Redbox.
Yeah! I'd rented DOOM for the PS4 from Red Box, back when the game came out.
I still see people using the redbox at 7-11 all the time. I just have to wonder.
My town has two, TWO rental places. One is a hipstery place that prides itself on weird and old stuff. The other is just a survival. It's exactly like those family owned rental joints you remember. The sign outside advertises new DVD arrivals like Rampage or whatever else. They sell boxes of Sour Patch Kids. It even smells like a Blockbuster.
Movie Trading Company also rents movies. Most of their business is selling games, music and movies, but they have good rental deals. I recently signed up for their promotions email and the guy told me that I had a late rental fee from over 10 years ago. I told the dumbass that I'm not paying for that BS.
I got some Sennheiser HD 4.40 bluetooth headphones mostly for watching movies/gaming late at night. They are kind of depressing, they sound awesome but they are extremely uncomfortable after about a half an hour. By comparison, my wired set is like slipping on a glove and I can listen to them indefinitely. I could replace the padding, but at that point I could have just bought higher end headphones to begin with. These are going back unfortunately.
gubba gahbo, nerds.
Pop that T2 in first, it's one of the best laserdiscs. Hunt for Red October is pretty good too. There's a 90% chance Eraser is defective.
Deals can still be had! Just picked up Golden Axe 2, Mutant League Football CIB and 3 other common games for $20.
Laserdiscs. And you seemed like such a reasonable, pragmatic dude.
Bought a broken Game Gear off Facebook for $25 with the intention of screwing around with it at some point. Also scored some $2 Nintendo 64 at the pawn shop. Was looking forward to running across Body Harvest, still on the outlook for Silicon Valley.

Woo hoo laserdiscs! Fuck You Robot!
Here's my instagram on that very topic: https://www.instagram.com/laser_hound_revival/
The 'leather jacket' T2: Special Edition box set is one of my favorite things.
Holy shit I need to find that CC Pulp Fiction.
Got a non-GH Crash Bandicoot 2 in good shape with the lenticular insert and everything.
Still need the first one if anyone happens across one in their journeys.
EDF! EDF! EDF! (4.1)
Dankay Kang for Switch. Holy shit how did I miss this on Wii U? It's so fucking well polished.
The Music, Controls and overall presentation are fucking great!
What is so ultimate about it?
Did you get the PS4 EDF 4.1 or the PC one?
PS4!
womp womp
DNG and I played a ton of the PS4 one and we've moved to the PC. It'd be cool to have another person
i will play with you on the ps4, kof!
I might jump ship to PC only because I am too cheap to be PSN+
Yeah, the same guy that offered free sales posts for the 1st ten members on this board that subscribed. He then made it mandatory that you had to have something to sell every week, or would be charged posting fees.
The site was called Chase the Chuckwagon, and it was later changed to Game Gavel.
He was also behind the Coleco Chameleon fiasco.
Yeah, that dude is shady.
you guys are mixing two people together. Kevincal was the tool bag selling beat up empty n64 body harvest boxes and disc 1 OR 2 of two disc games. Mike Kennedy was the tool bag that ran chase the chuckwagon/ game gavel/ retro magazine/ and tried to scam people on kickstarter and indigogo with that coleco chameleon bullshit.
Oh yeah! This douchbag
I’m not surprised he sold there, probably got a free account via atariage.
Well, when he gets booted off every forum in existence for being a tool he's gotta go somewhere.
I know he got kicked from AA, was he on Neogeo as well and got the boot?
I think he's been pretty much everywhere. Neo, Sega16, Nintendo age, etc. Usually either banned our otherwise run off for the same reasons. I think he mostly parts ridiculous bin's on eBay now.
Yeah, a while ago I was looking for something "rare" and "dragonball" for my nephew and found a listing of his by complete chance. Dork posted a drawing he made in high school for $50 Bin. After I shared it here and it got a few views, he raised it to $100.
edit: oh, it was "vintage" I was looking for, not rare.
ha, he must keep relisting it. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Original-Vi...item2aa40005bc
What a maroon!
I am saving all my kids drawing now.
And save all your used nails. Big money in them.

What a loser. I never payed much attention to his shenanigans when he posted here.
He's the retailing god I aspire to be.
Your good sense is preventing you achieving deity status.
Yeah well, his feedback is

My quest for some new headphones continues. I got in a pair of Audio Technica ATH-M50x's. It doesn't work as well on portable devices but when I hooked it up to my receiver they absolutely sing. They aren't that comfortable though, so I ordered some velour earpads that I hope make them more comfortable and smooth out the treble a bit.
If you are shopping for audio gear and aren't sure what to get, the Amazon rental program really works wonders.
are those someone else' pics or have you been keeping your marital status a secret?
I'm flattered you think I can troll that deep, but no, not my pics.
Congrats! Where did you register?

Finally hit my buy price point.

My copy of Strange Journey Redux came in. On hand this was probably my most played game last gen, on the other the recent Radiant Historica remake seemed lazy and I worry this will suffer the same. Kinda shocked Atlus didn’t include anything with the game, it’s no frills packaging this round.
Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey Redux (3DS)
80's Overdrive (3DS)
The Witness (PS4)
Daydreamer (PS4)
Deceptor (C64)
The C64 game has stickers on it that say "Property of Distinctive Software" and "Electronic Arts Canada Information Library". I guess it used to be EA's internal copy.
EDF! EDF! EDF! 4.1 for PeeCee, who wants to join Joust, DNG and I as we look to take down this game on Inferno?
Let me buy it so we play it exactly once.
I will definitely play this regularly, EDF is one of my favorites (I solo'ed Inferno on 360). If no one plays it, I am fine and will play alone. It is interesting that when Joust and I opened a room, randoms will join us for this "old" game.
Stopped by a thrift store that had the most overwhelming urine smell I've ever encountered outside a 2:05am bar bathroom. Picked up a sealed Godfather Coppola Collection Bluray for $3.89 and this:

It was on a shelf behind the register, completely covered by other crap in front of it except the very top where I could see "Lucasfilm Presents." Despite being priced $2.29(? hard to read that chicken scratch), the lady only charged me $.99.

That's rad as fuck.
I was listing it on ebay, just about to click the List Item button when the interent went out. Which means the phone, credit card machine, and alarm system is out as well. Bright side: there’s an outage for the entire area, it’s not just me. yay spectrum.
Macintosh, fail.
Back when Macintosh was a good gaming computer.
A man must eat.
Buy some of my shit you say you're interested in so I won't have to do shit like that.
Find me a CIB Boktai 2 and I'll buy it from you. :p
Looking at the cover, I think that's one of the few "desirable" GBA games I never had.
Do you have many SFC games?
no, only a couple.
I'm trying to keep my expenditures to a minimum while we pay back debt and build some savings but I'm down for buying something once in a while! I wish I lived closer.
I got Sine Mora EX for $2 on PSN because I am curious and Dragon Quest Heroes 2 for $15 on New Egg because I am a sucker. Also, Cornell University Press had a "Pay What You Want" day on their books, so I got a bunch of theory/literary criticism books I'd normally be priced out of for low-ball prices I was somewhat embarrassed to attach my name to but it worked out!
And, finally, a copy of Double Indemnity on DVD courtesy of the library because conceding it as "lost" and paying for a replacement was cheaper than paying my late fees and returning it.
Movie rules, tho.
I can't get more than "meh" out of Sine Mora.
I can. Meh to the Max
Mehximum.
After having this as a saved search for almost 6 months, a unit finally appeared that reportedly worked and was somewhat affordable.
I was pretty bummed when I went to the post office to pick it up (the carrier considered it "too heavy" to deliver) and saw how shabbily it was packaged. It was basically two pieces of cardboard folded over the thing. Opening it when I got home I found a few pieces of balled up newspaper (of course now completely flattened) where all the packing material the seller felt necessary.
Brought it to work today to test it, expecting the worst when I powered it up. Amazingly, it works!
http://www.the-nextlevel.com/tnl/att...1&d=1527088745
Of course, there's only one DVD I could test it with.
