I haven't seen much on the Switch version aside from it looking more like a mobile game but running well. It has the same amount of content so that's good too. Embargo ends 8pm tonight, so expect the tidel wave of info then.

I've never been that big of a Mortal Kombat fan. My only reason for getting 11 is I have a childhood friend that I played the old MK games with a lot. He wants to play 11 together but Switch is his only console. Otherwise I'd get it for PS4, if at all.
Story mode videos are all over Youtube now, along with other stuff (All costumes! player matches, etc). I guess review jams from the big names are locked down for a few more hours.

So this game requires hundreds of hours to unlock all the fatalities/costumes, unless you pony up.
NRS SHOWS MERCY. It's thousands for all the costumes and stages in SF5. Probably tens of thousands.
I don't really have a need to unlock useless shit anyway, so meh.
Anyway, put about 2 hours into story mode and did the novice ladder with Johnny Cage. I'm obviously playing at scrub level, but so far this is pretty great. Also, I want to be old man Johnny Cage when I grow up.
Fatalities aren't useless though, as they are part of the MK experience. Okay they aren't useful in actual fighting but still, this trend needs to die (but won't). I will wait for XI XL with everything unlocked.
Are you actually unlocking them or just adding them to the move list? IIRC in MKX you didn't have to unlock fatalities if you already knew the commands, but you did have to unlock the Brutalities. With MKX I downloaded an app on my phone that would display the characters fatalities and I'd just glance down when it was time to Finish Him.
