I've had an almost full beard since 7th god damn grade, and right now I have a chin strap. I shave my head bald now because my older brother that used to cut my hair had one of his eyes removed. When I look in the mirror, I look like one of those angry black guys you see in anger management class. Chicks dig it.

I can never hope to be the cool and gruff drifter. My facial hair is all soft and crap, like a goddamn teddy bear. I leave some on my chin to make myself look a bit older. I dont ever get IDed with it on there, and the day I shave it off, I will get IDed just to LOOK at a beer. So I leave that bit on my chin. Not too long ago I let my facial hair grow out, and it looked alright, but its heavy maintainance, and someone told me it made me look, "almost too pretty". I just wanna look badass, but I end up looking "pretty". Le sigh*

I sport a beard. I've been able to grow one since middle school. I guess it has something to do with being Scandinavian. When equipped with my beard (sometimes I'll shave it off), I fall into the 'drifter' look. It suits me just fine with my style of dress, which a friend once called "social camoflauge."
I think having a beard has a lot to do with how you carry yourself. If you have a beard, but don't follow it up with the right amount of attitude, you just look silly. Something like self-confidence.

i can't seem to grow a beard. =/ i always wanted to let my facial hair grow out and see what i would look like. plus, it would help hide my acne. :rolleyes:
people say all you have to do is keeping shaving and later on if you stop shaving you'll grow a beard. doesn't work for me. i'm 19 and i'm just above peach fuzz mode.
I've got a lil' mini beard thing goin on..its about 2 mayby pushing 3" long, I've got a mustache...but the pride and joy of my "collection" are my wicked cool burns they almost wrap around and connect with my stache...it doesn't sounds like it fits to well untill I spike up my hair like I'm the lead to static X ^_^ my look is definetely sometihng not to be taken lightly, and if you make fun of my I'll key your car with my hair
I've got some sort of goatee thing going (you can see it a little bit in sleeveboy's fantastic sig). It's mainly due to laziness...c'mon, shaving every day? I don't have that kind of time...
Plus, it makes me look a bit older. Otherwise, people still ask for directions to nearby middle schools.
