i'm thinking the earliest we'll hear anything about it is late september or october..
I think we'll have to wait til KOF 2000 hits PS2, Playmore will likely compare system sales and make a decision if a Metal Slug 3 DC port is profitable. The upside so far is KOF 2000 sold briskly on the Dreamcast and Playmore is limited in it's capital. DC presents the company with a loyal fanbase and cheap media, with luck this be enough.... *-neo
Let's all bug NCS to get preorders ready for this one! Maybe with enough preorders this game will see the light like Ikaruga.

Personally, I love the DC and want it to get as many more games as possible, plus I know I can play import DC games easily on my DC, I can't do that with other newer systems
If there's even a hint that there's a preorder program for the DC version, I'm there. :D
My god, can't this thread die? It's just going to become a flame fest again... christ. Oh and as for having a number of pre-orders to have it happen... that wasn't the reason DC Ikaruga got made. It had been planned all along... treasure just kept quite about it to try to avoid hurting arcade venue for Ikaruga in Japan (like what happened with RS in japan when the Saturn version was announced shortly after the arcade version).

Playmore's not planning an MS3 release for any of the consoles, just KOF2K1.
