Your biology teacher is either a fucking moron, or purposefully misrepresenting facts for her own ends (I tend to believe the latter, although both are possible). There is no "rule of biology" that states "all living things come from other living things". Right now there is microbiological life being created in underwater volcanic vents. The life is coming from the environmental conditions and the extreme heat, not from other life. I suggest ignoring everything your teacher has said, because she is obviously not qualified to be teaching biology if she is spouting nonsense like that.Quote:

Man and apes both came from the same ancestor. Man didn't come from apes. Someone already mentioned that in this thread.Quote:

Oh, and the Bible does not say that god is human man. And even if it did, it wouldn't matter, because no matter how many times the Bible contradicts itself and everything we know to be true, Christians continue to chalk the bullshit up to "allegory".
It\'s actually a response to A Case for Faith, but this does a pretty good job of stating everything that is wrong with Strobel\'s views.Quote:

It has a counter point for most of the stuff in that article. Even though I doubt anyone here cared enough about what they believed to read all of what he posted, or care enough to read the book to argue against it.
