wolverine's "ORIGIN"

I'm just wondering if anybody got this book? It's the tale of how Logan was raised and first learned about his mutant abilities. Much of the story explains the hardships he went through and had great detail on the characters he's interacted with through the early years of his childhood.

I managed to pick it up for $35.95. The story itself has a feel comparable to "Legends of the fall" and "Great expectations". One of the best comic stories I've ever laid my hands on and I think you guys should check this out. :sneak:

His mutant ability is his healing factor/longevity.

He got the adamantium skeleton and claws after the fact.

is that a Marvel or what?

I found origin to very predictable and sorta dull.

Being the biggest comic nut here, of course I bought it. I knew going into it that they would find some way to leave it open for a sequel if it was successful(heh), and I was right. I was satisfied with what I got, but I have to say that other than the end of issue 2 and 6, I saw it all coming.

I have no idea how long it's been out in hardback and paperback, but I have both Garth Ennis's Marvel Knight Punisher collections. I hate buying single issues. Excellent read, highly recommended.

Origin fucking sucked. Incredibly predictable (I even called the big "surprise" in issue 2 after reading the first issue) and ridiculously slow moving and boring. Complete garbage. Of course I bought every issue.

Someone give me the short version, I'm curious.
