Looks like Consumers are put at risk again. Another piece of the plan to stop users from being about to make copies of anything for any reason, including personal use. :(

Something drastic has to be done, or this whole thing's going to explode in everybody's face. Nothing is going to stop people from downloading MP3's and movie files, and nothing is going to stop stupid mis-informed bills from passing. Sounds like disaster brewing if you ask me.
That's just it though. These bills can be stopped if he hurry and write our Congressmen. I'm planning to try to write mine about this and the other situation I bought up this weekend.

This is funny, they just made laws to stiffen the penalty against people who create viruses and hack into computers and then on the other hand they say it is ok for business to hack into computers and infect them is they feel... got to love that old double standard and how our laws stand up for big business rights to make money :lol:

Here's a link to the article. On paper it's not bad as long as things don't get out of hand. I'm still a bit sceptical of this though. Especially with the other stuff people are trying to get passed.
