I'm hoping to pick it up soon...
It looks like I can get it for $59 for the original release... What has everyone else paid for the game? I really don't feel like waiting for another potentially cheaper copy to pop up on eBay.

Unless you don't plan on flipping your TV for the game, in which case we're right back at wanting to slap you.

I'll let you know when the time comes if I choose to perform the religious flippling of the television. If I do get the game soon, that is.
I need a shooter that's gonna keep me playing for a while without become tedious... I hope DDP is the right choice.
DDP is the sort of game you can devote a lifetime to and still not be very good at. You may still find it tedious for all I know, but rest assured that there's more than enough gameplay depth to go around.
I'm used to not being an expert at most of everything, so no problems there.
DDP has the second best scoring systm next to Mars MAtrix. Kinda makes the game IMO. DDP always seemed funny to me, because to describe it, it's achingly generic, not much to look at, and doesn't really offer a major twist to the genre, but somehow ends up being more than the sum of its parts. Anyway, good stuff, I doubt you'll be disappointed.

There is little point in owning DDP if you're not willing to experience the game the way the creators made it.
Well, I'm hoping to. Right now I'm investigating some Commodore monitors, actually... If at all possible I would love to snatch one up for not too much. I rather leave my TV the way it is.Quote:

Are you getting the Playstation or Saturn version? I heard that the PSX version is one of the most amazing console programming feats ever, considering the amount of 2D insanity in the game, the fact it's running almost perfectly on the allegedly 2D-unfriendly Playstation, and also the fact that it's a better port than the Saturn version.
