Fucking bitches made off with my car stereo and all the CDs I had in my car.
I mean, I can understand the stereo, but why the fuck would you take the CDs as well? Do my musical tastes appeal to you that much, you fucks?
Anyway, just thought I'd vent. Feel free to share similar stories if you care to.
A bunch of low life fucks stole my car's CD player a few years back. They left the CD's though.
My CD player was stolen about six months ago. Thankfully, I keep the CDs behind the seat, where they likely did not see them.
They stole the CDs to sell them off. I know someone who runs a used CD store, and he says it happens all the time.
I had my truck stolen a few years ago. It was found a couple of days later, but my stereo and tapes were gone. I ended up rebuilding my music collection with cds, but now I burn a copy of each one to keep in my car in case it ever happens again. I also got a car alarm. It might not stop an expert car theif, but it's a good detterent.
Do the theives post at TNL or something? Maybe more of you guys need Live Journals :)
sorry about the bad news sleeveboy. that's the one thing that's keeping me from getting a cd player in my car. i usually use my portable cd player with an adapter for the tape deck, and i only carry 1-5 cd's with me in my car at a time. i'd hate to have my whole case of my fave music in there and have half my collection gone just like that.
The new one I got has a detatchable face that I take off everytime I get out of the car. It seems to keep people from breaking in.
Yeah, the worst part is that mine HAD a detachable face, but I neglected to take it off that night.
Serves me right, I suppose.
