Yeah, there's a certain intangible something here at TNL that leads me to say, in all honesty, that it is by a wide margin the best internet forum out there, period. It helps if you like video games, but it is surprisingly not necessary.

I think it's because the board isn't utterly and completely retarded. Even when someone acts like a stereotypical internet person, it's usually as a joke.

Just a great place to spend time, and a great community.

Exactly. And yes, some could point out that people here act a lot like trolls in some cases, but it's not the same as other boards where it's just insulting someone for no reason.

You guys haven't scared me off yet, so I guess I'm sticking around for a while. I tried to stay off TNL for a while, but it didn't work. So I tried to stop logging on while at school, and it was intolerably dull. I don't think I want to leave, though.

I can't say for sure. I don't see myself here any time after I am 27 (which is a ways off yet). By then, I hope to be very far away from where I am at right now.

There's my progression. ECM talked me into heading over to GameGo and I've been around since their boards started up and when they just had a chat room. I doubt I'll leave in the foreseeable future, what the hell else do I have going on in my life? :D
